Suzete NAscimiento Farias Da Guarda, MD, PhD (she/her)

Suzete completed her Residency in Neurology, Vascular Neurology Fellowship, and PhD at the University of São Paulo (Brazil). She currently holds dual roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the J. Philip Kistler Stroke Research Center and as an NIH StrokeNet Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on advanced neuroimaging markers of cerebral small vessel disease, the characterization of tau pathology in cerebral amyloid angiopathy, and the investigation of the links between small vessel disease and cognitive impairment.
